Let me ease your mind! It's not quite here yet.
But it is time to think about an appropriate gift for our little recipients. Receiving the Eucharist for the first time is a big occasion in a child's life who is 7 or 8 years old. They are learning that this occasion marks a big step forward in being in the community of God(let alone becoming an adult).
But they still do remain "Children". Children learn through play and interaction.
Do you remember the beautiful crystal or expensive Black beaded Rosary you got for your First Holy Communion? You probably were warned not to lose this precious remembrance.
A fun way to take the stress off and letting your children pray the rosary after Communion is with a Lego Rosary. What I offer are big friendly 2x2 lego bricks that a child can click together after each prayer. If they lay it down somewhere it's easy to find! Plus it's sturdy and FUN.
