American Catholic Church Architectural Salvage ...... Carver leaves legacy with church sacramentals

Carver Leaves Legacy with Church Sacramental.
I was lucky enough to obtain some art work from the studio of Joseph J Noe. You can view them at the bottom of this web page. I would like to give you some history on this artist.

Noe had a studio in the Bronx in 1952. New York during the 1950's was experiencing a up surge in artists starting studios and making a family of artists that still lingers today. Mid-Century Modern was just starting and ended in the  early 1960's. Noe's hand carved wood work can be seen in church through out America. If you are a Catholic you are familiar with the oak wood work you see in many churches build during the 50's and 60s. It was probably made in his studios.
Historically and artistically speaking, wood work from the Noe Studio should be cherished and coveted.
